MTCUME (MikroTik Certified User Management Engineer)


Prerequisites:

·     Participants must have an MTCNA certificate to enroll in the MTCUME course.


Course Description:

The MTCUME course delves into detailed aspects of user management in RouterOS, covering PPP, PPTP, L2TP, PPPoE setups, advanced bridging, IPsec for secure connections, HotSpot configurations, and Radius client and server setups. Participants engage in practical labs to apply learned concepts, ensuring a thorough understanding of MikroTik's user management capabilities.


Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion, students will have acquired the ability to implement and manage complex RouterOS based networks with advanced user management techniques, including PPPoE servers and clients, VPN setups, and the integration of Radius servers.


Ideal For:

This course is suited for network engineers and technicians involved in deploying and supporting large-scale corporate networks who seek to enhance their skills in managing RouterOS networks more effectively.


Course Outline:

·     PPP: Understanding and configuring PPP profiles, secrets, and session timeouts.


·     PPTP and L2TP: Setup and management for both client and server sides, including dial-on-demand and static routes.


·     PPPoE: Server and client configurations, with a focus on service name setups and profile configurations.


·     Bridging: Techniques for implementing L2TP, EoIP, VPLS, and BCP in bridging scenarios.


·     IPsec: Fundamentals, peer configurations, policy setups, and encryption methods.


·     HotSpot: Setup, login methods, user management, and customization.


·     RADIUS: Client and server configurations, user management via the latest User Manager tool.

·     2 Days (12 Hours total)(6 hours per day including breaks)
