MTCRE (The MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer)

Prerequisites:

·     Participants must hold a valid MTCNA certificate before enrolling in the MTCRE course.

Course Description:

The MTCRE course offers in-depth training on planning, implementing, and troubleshooting advanced routing configurations with MikroTik RouterOS. It covers a range of topics from static routing and point-to-point addressing to VPN and OSPF.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion, students will be able to:

·     Design and implement complex network routing using MikroTik RouterOS.

·     Configure static routes and manage traffic using routing marks and policies.

·     Set up various VPN types for site-to-site connectivity.

·     Implement VLANs and understand their usage in network segmentation.

·     Deep dive into OSPF, understanding its operations, network types, and area configurations.

Ideal For:

This course is aimed at network engineers and technicians involved in deploying and supporting routed networks using MikroTik RouterOS.

Course Outline:

·     Module 1: Static Routing covers more specific routes, ECMP, routing marks, and policies.

·     Module 2: Point to Point Addressing focuses on configuring addresses for point-to-point connections.

·     Module 3: VPN introduces VPN concepts, types of VPNs, and covers the setup for various VPN protocols like IPIP, EoIP, PPTP, SSTP, and L2TP.

·     Module 4: OSPF dives into the OSPF protocol, its network structure, router types, neighbor states, and route distribution methods.
