MTCSWE

Certified Switching Engineer (MTCSWE)

Prerequisites:
The MTCNA (MikroTik Certified Network Associate) certificate is required before taking the MTCSWE course.

Course Description:
The MTCSWE course provides an in-depth understanding of RouterOS Layer 2 forwarding, bridging, and switch chip functionalities in RouterBOARD devices. Participants gain hands-on experience with VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocols, QoS, security, PoE, and diagnostic tools. The course also covers advanced configurations using MikroTik Cloud Router Switch (CRS) and SwitchOS (SwOS).

Learning Outcomes:
By completing this course, participants will:

·  Understand Layer 2 forwarding concepts and switch chip features in MikroTik hardware.

·  Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocols, and QoS.

·  Implement Layer 2 security measures and optimize network performance.

·  Deploy advanced Layer 2 features using MikroTik devices and manage configurations with SwOS.
