Cisco ENSDWI (Implementing Cisco SD-WAN Solutions)

Before taking this course, you should possess a knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) concepts as applied to large-scale networks, a strong understanding of enterprise WAN design, routing protocol operations, and familiarity with Transport Layer Security (TLS) and IP Security (IPsec). It's recommended to have completed Cisco courses like CCNA and ENCOR to meet these prerequisites.

Course Description:

This course delves into the Cisco SD-WAN architecture and offers insight into its operation, differing from traditional WANs. You'll learn about deployment options, controller placement, WAN Edge device deployment, and more. The training also covers advanced control, data, and application-aware policies, as well as SD-WAN security options.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, you'll be able to describe the Cisco SD-WAN solution, deploy WAN Edge devices, manage configuration templates, and implement advanced routing protocols within the Cisco SD-WAN environment. You'll also gain skills in configuring and applying SD-WAN policies and troubleshooting various aspects of the Cisco SD-WAN solution.

Ideal For:

The course is ideal for individuals aiming for the Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise certification or the Cisco Certified Specialist—Enterprise SD-WAN Implementation. It suits pre- and post-sales network engineers involved in installing, supporting, and troubleshooting a Cisco SD-WAN overlay network.

Course Outline:

The course covers a broad range of topics including Cisco SD-WAN architecture, cloud and on-premises deployment options, WAN Edge device deployment, configuration management, advanced control and data policies, application-aware routing, Cisco SD-WAN security, and more. It provides both theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on experience.
